Children from completely different social backgrounds crossed paths in 2002 in Belo Horizonte, at the Santa Lúcia Dam, which separates a group of slums from an upper middle class neighborhood. Even though they lived so close, they were always so far apart. Twenty years on, what has happened to each of them? Between 2002 and 2022, Brazil was turned upside down. And so were their lives. A movie about the meetings and mismatches of contemporary Brazilian society.
